Smoked Ribs in Sauerkraut

Directions

• Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add sliced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until softened, but not browned.

• Add sauerkraut to the pot, stirring to combine with the onions and garlic. Cover and let it heat through.
• Cut the Sikorski Smoked Ribs into individual pieces, each containing one bone with meat. Add them to the pot along with the bay leaves and fresh rosemary. Season with pepper to taste.
• Stir everything together, cover the pot, and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
• Alternatively, you can use an Instant Pot by following the same steps and cooking under high pressure for 40 minutes.
• Once the ribs are tender and easily come off the bone, the dish is ready.
• Serve hot with slices of sourdough bread for dipping and enjoy!

500 g Sikorski Smoked Ribs
900 ml (1 jar) sauerkraut
1 large white onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 sprig fresh rosemary
Pepper, to taste
2 bay leaves
